Corso di Mosaico filato

La tecnica del mosaico filato, che prevede la filatura a fuoco degli smalti per poter ottenere molteplici sfumature e svariate forme delle tessere, nasce a Roma sul finire del XVIII secolo dove diviene immediatamente celebre come strumento per comporre opere di piccole dimensioni destinate alla casa e alla persona. Il corso ha una durata complessiva di 8 mesi suddivisi in 4 livelli, che possono essere frequentati anche separatamente: 1° Livello: approccio con il fuoco, filatura, realizzazione di un semplice lavoro. 2° Livello: studio dei colori, realizzazioni a fuoco di forme diverse, realizzazione di un lavoro di difficoltà superiore. 3° Livello: studio dei supporti, pratica di filatura, ampliamento della gamma cromatica, realizzazione di un lavoro tratto da un modello della tradizione. 4° Livello: perfezionamento, progettualità e libertà di espressione

Spun mosaic courses

The spun mosaic technique (“mosaico filato”), which involves the fire spinning (“filatura a fuoco”) of enamels in order to be able to obtain multiple nuances and varied forms of “tessere”, began in Rome towards the end of the 18th century, where it becomes immediately famous as an instrument for composing works of small dimensions destined for the home and personal use. The course has an overall duration of 8 months divided into 4 levels, which can be attended also separately: 1st Level: an approach to fire, spinning, creating a simple work. 2nd Level: study of colours, making with fire of different forms, creating a work of higher difficulty. 3rd Level: study of props, spinning practice, amplification of the chromatic range, creating a work taken from a traditional model. 4th Level: proficiency, design and freedom of expression
